Also accepted at BayWa in Bavaria and Baden-WürttembergElmshorn, 1 September 2016 – From now on, star fleet card users can fill up at more than 70 automatic BayWa pumps in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The star fleet card can be used throughout the whole of Germany because its acceptance points have been expanded.
In the BayWa network of star petrol stations, customers can now also use their star fleet cards in the Federal State of Bavaria and in parts of Baden-Württemberg. As a result, the acceptance network of over 550 star petrol stations has been increased by 13 percent, and coverage expanded throughout the country. “We are delighted that our star fleet card customers can now also fill up in southern Germany and thus throughout the entire country,” explained Wieslaw Milkiewicz, member of the board and press spokesperson of the star petrol stations. “Especially when it comes to payment terms, star is always creating new momentum in the industry. Innovative solutions such as contactless payment, which we introduced more than five years ago and were the first petrol station company in Germany to do so, allow our customers to fill up easily and flexibly. With coverage across the whole of Germany, we have now definitively closed ranks as far as the fleet card is concerned.”
The star fleet card
With the star fleet card, customers can obtain fuels and lubricants including LPG, natural gas and AdBlue and can purchase goods and pay for services relating to vehicles via cashless payment at all places of acceptance. In the easy-to-use online portal, customers can view their transactions at any time and evaluate them, download bills, process data and check their cards. An additional bonus in the daily operations of fleet customers is the petrol station locator they can use to search for nearby stations and receive notifications about low prices by e-mail or SMS. With the EAN code as an additional option besides the magnetic strip, payment is always guaranteed and error-free IT processing ensured.
