Jarosław Marczak is a manager with great experience of working in international business. He is a specialist in mergers and divestments and has strong management skills. Marczak has 20 years of experience of working in board and management positions in companies listed on the major stock exchanges. He specialises in digitisation and the transformation of processes within companies. As a member of the Steering Committee, Jarosław Marczak’s responsibilities included supervising the "carve-out" process for the separation of Siemens Energy from the Siemens AG Group.
Jarosław Marczak (Chief Executive Officer) joins the existing management board at ORLEN Deutschland GmbH, consisting of Dariusz Pawlik (Chief Operating Officer) and Oskar Skiba (Chief Financial Officer). Piotr Guział, the former Chief Development Officer of ORLEN Deutschland GmbH, moved to the position of Chief Executive Advisor on 10 February 2023 and now reports directly to the new CEO, Jarosław Marczak.
Within the management structure of ORLEN Deutschland GmbH, responsibilities for the different areas are assigned as follows: Jarosław Marczak is responsible for Human Resources, IT, Strategic Projects and the Security Office. Daruisz Pawlik is assigned the areas of Supply/Wholesale/Logistics, Retail Fuels, Corporate Communications and Marketing. Oskar Skiba is responsible for the areas of Supervisory & Management Board, Business Controlling, Customer & Partner Services, Finance & Accounting, Taxes, Legal, Compliance and Data Protection, and Procurement. Piotr Guział continues to oversee the areas of Board Advisors, Non Fuel Business, New Business & Payment Development, Net Development, Technique and On-Site Inspection.
