A 1,200-square-metre area has been completely redeveloped to accommodate state-of-the-art fuel station technology. The ORLEN express automated fuel station in Zella-Mehlis is the first one to be developed, designed and built from scratch by the company. This makes it the 18th unmanned station in the network, and underscores ORLEN’s drive for a versatile fuel station infrastructure. Automatic fuel stations are particularly popular in Germany because they offer a practical and time-saving way to fill up with fuel. 

The ORLEN express fuel station located in Industriestraße in Zella-Mehlis was successfully put into operation at the end of December 2023, after a construction period of just under six months. Its features are versatile and customer-friendly: diesel, E5 and E10 as well as SuperPlus and AdBlue are available at the two MPD (Multi Product Dispenser) columns. Electric cars can be charged within minutes thanks to two high-power chargers (HPC) with four charging points. The station’s strategic location in the immediate vicinity of Autobahn 71 (exit Suhl/Zella-Mehlis) makes it conveniently accessible, benefiting both commuters and travellers. 

The walking distance to the large A71 shopping centre and fast-food restaurants provides additional amenities for customers. The ORLEN express in Zella-Mehlis is open 24 hours a day, offering maximum flexibility for customers regardless of the time of day.
