These data protection guidelines list the information which we (ORLEN Deutschland GmbH) are able to collect from your visit to our internet offering and for which purposes these data are used.
1. Which data is collected?
No personal data is collected when visiting our website as a rule. Personal data is only stored if you have made such available to us, for instance, when making an inquiry. Nevertheless, technical information is collected such as the browser used by you. You, as the internet user, remain anonymous in this. The data is only analyzed by us for statistical purposes (e.g. number of hits for individual web pages).
When visiting one of our websites, it may be the case that we will store information on your computer in the form of a "cookie" (small text file containing information) which will automatically identify you on your next visit. Cookies make it possible, for instance, to adapt a website to your interests or to store your data and settings in such a manner that you do not need to re-enter your data on every visit. If you do not wish us to recognize your computer on your next visit, please set your internet browser to delete cookies from your computer’s hard disk, block all cookies or warn you before cookies are stored. Instructions in this regard can be found in the Help menu of your browser.
2. What does Orlen Deutschland use your personal data for?
If you have made your personal data available to us, we will only use it to reply to your inquiries, to fulfill our contractual obligations resulting from any contracts concluded with you and – if required – for technical administration.
Your personal data will only be transmitted to third parties or otherwise if this is required to fulfill contractual obligations or if you have authorized us to do so in advance.
3. When will my personal data be deleted?
Your stored personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to store your details, if knowledge thereof is no longer required for the purpose for which it was stored, or when storage thereof is not permitted for other legal reasons.
4. Your right of objection and right to information
Of course, you can revoke your authorization given to us for the use of your personal data at any time, in whole or in part, with future effect by simply sending us notice to this effect using our contact details. We will then delete the data relevant to you.
We will be pleased to provide you with information concerning your personal data stored by us if you send us a written request to the address stated in the content provider identification ("Imprint”). You can also send us your inquiry by email to [address].
5. Security notice
We endeavor to store your personal data in such a manner as to ensure that they are not accessible to third parties by taking all necessary technical and organizational measures. Full data security cannot be guaranteed by us when communicating by email. We therefore recommend that you send confidential information by post.
