star petrol stations and Team YAMAHA Motor Germany continue their successful IDM Superbike partnership in 2013

star petrol stations and Team YAMAHA Motor Germany are partnering up again this season, with top Australian rider Gareth Jones now racing for YAMAHA.

star is one of the largest and most important partners for Team YAMAHA Motor Germany and has been a sponsor for many years. For the past five years, star and YAMAHA have been on the same path: “Our basic values and our drive for innovation still match up”, explains Wieslaw Milkiewicz, Managing Director and Spokesperson for the star petrol station brand.

New team member and optimised technology – the title is within reach
The start to the IDM Superbike season 2013 couldn’t be better for Team YAMAHA Motor Germany: new team member Gareth Jones (26) had an outstanding year in 2012, ending the season in 4th place. Matej Smrz (27) of the Czech Republic managed to come in 5th for KTM in 2012. “With this team we will certainly have something to say in the race for the title. The bikes are also running with better electronics, less weight and better braking”, says Team Manager Michael Galinski.

The star coffee biker special offer enters its fourth round
star’s support for bikers extends to the roads and to star petrol stations as well. Since 1 April 2013, bikers have been getting a free coffee each time they stop for fuel at a participating star station – throughout the season for the entire weekend. To improve visibility on the road, a free visor cleaning cloth is also being given away with every coffee. Of course this offer is only available while stocks last.
