Elmshorn, 15 May 2018: star petrol stations are once again supporting EuroEyes Cyclassics this year on 19 August in Hamburg. At Europe’s largest cycle race, star will also present
the official training routes and rides. Cycling enthusiasts are encouraged to take part. The first ride will start on 20 May at 11 a.m. from the star petrol station at Brennerhof 6 in Moorfleet. As an energy partner, star will have a little surprise for every cyclist.
At star petrol stations, it is not just cars that can top up on energy, but cyclists too. That is why the company is so passionately committed to the popular, environmentally friendly endurance and family sport of cycling. “We are delighted to act as the main sponsor and energy partner of EuroEyes Cyclassics for the third time,” explains Wieslaw Milkiewicz, Managing Director and Press Spokesman for the petrol station brand star. This major cycling event on 19 August is open to everyone and follows three routes of 60, 100 and 160 kilometres through Hamburg and its green surroundings. Around 18,000 participants are expected, as well as 650,000 spectators. Immediately after the amateurs, the cycling professionals will battle it out in the only German UCI World Tour race.
star will make sure that all the cycling enthusiasts who take part in the official training rides before the race are supplied with the necessary energy. In each case, they will start from a star petrol station in the city region. This will also serve as a refreshment station. The exact starting points for the training rides will be published on the official EuroEyes Cyclassics website (http://www.cyclassics-hamburg.de/das-event/cyclassics-rides/). During EuroEyes Cyclassics, the star petrol station at Altonaer Chaussee 20 in Schenefeld will provide the cyclists with refreshments.
In addition, a star team of around 50 people will once again take part in the amateur race this year. The team will be made up of employees, business customers, petrol station partners, family members and friends, and will bring a whole lot of enthusiasm for cycling.
