Elmshorn, 13 September 2022 - Seeing a Formula 1 car up close is a big dream for many motorsport fans - and at the star stations in Berlin, Dresden, Essen and Glückstadt, this dream is now coming true. From 20 September to 14 October, an original Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Formula 1 racing car will be making a number of stops in Germany as part of a wider tour.
Almost 1,000 PS, 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 370 km/h – a Formula 1 racing car is impressive to behold. And customers of star stations will be able to get an idea of just how impressive for themselves in the coming weeks. After two locations last year, an original Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN racing car will be on display in four German cities this time around. The presentation is part of the motorsport sponsorship by Polish multi-energy group PKN ORLEN S.A., to which ORLEN Deutschland GmbH belongs as the operator of star filling stations. “Last year, the vehicle was a real highlight and a true head-turner at our stations. We are all the more excited that the Formula 1 race car will be in even more cities this time, giving even more customers the opportunity to see it”, says Waldemar Bogusch, CEO of ORLEN Deutschland GmbH. In addition to Germany, the lightning-fast car is also being exhibited in Poland and the Czech Republic.
The almost 800 kg car will be presented in an illuminated glass container on the premises of each filling station. As well as the chance to take unique photos, on-site visitors will be able to grab themselves autograph cards from Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN drivers Robert Kubica (Poland), Valtteri Bottas (Finland) and Zhou Guanyu (China), and they can also enter a competition that will be run on the star filling stations’ social media channels.
