ORLEN Deutschland GmbH restructures its Management Board

Elmshorn, 6 October 2022 – From October onwards, the management of ORLEN Deutschland GmbH will be made up of an experienced three-person management team and will restructure its responsibilities. 

Piotr Guział was the Managing Director at Unipetrol Deutschland GmbH and has many years of experience holding positions on boards, as well as advisory and supervisory functions in private and public companies, including listed groups. Born in Warsaw, he has worked in the sales departments of payment, information and communication technologies (ICT), real estate management, and investment preparations. Guział studied economics at the University of Cologne and the Warsaw School of Economics, and served as a non-partial mayor of the Ursynów district in Warsaw, Poland, from 2010-2014. Piotr Guział has been working in his role as the Chief Development Officer for ORLEN Deutschland since September 2020. He is responsible for the Network & Fuel Development, Non Fuel Business, New Business & Payment Development, Technique and On-Site Inspection departments, as well as the Human Resources, Procurement, and Security Office departments.

Dariusz Pawlik brings with him sound international retail experience from the energy, logistics, and construction industries. He completed his apprenticeship as a forwarding specialist and attended the commercial college in Hamburg. Pawlik then studied business administration and spent ten years working in the USA and Poland: first for a Microsoft subsidiary and later for a large construction company in northern Poland. Pawlik completed the Executive Master of Business Administration at the University of Commerce and Services. In his previous position, Pawlik was the Director of Logistics at Energa S.A., one of the largest energy companies in Poland. Dariusz Pawlik has been the Chief Operating Officer at ORLEN Deutschland since April 2018 and is responsible for the areas of Supply/Wholesale/Logistics, IT, Marketing, Strategic Projects as well as the departments of Retail Fuels, PRO & star Academy, and Corporate Communications.

Oskar Skiba has over 30 years of management experience. He studied at the University of Szczecin, the University of Economics in Poznań, the University of Bayreuth, and in the field of postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. He has worked in management positions in the banking sector for over 15 years, including in Germany, and spent several years working in the aviation, transport, and medical sectors. He has served on the boards of banks and other companies. Oskar Skiba has been the Chief Financial Officer of ORLEN Deutschland since August 2018 and is responsible for the areas of Business Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Taxes as well as the Legal, Compliance and Data Protection departments, and the Supervisory & Management Board.

Waldemar Bogusch left the management of ORLEN Deutschland GmbH on 30 September 2022, where he had been the Chief Executive Officer for the Elmshorn-based company since August 2018.
