"After being commissioned by the parent company PKN Orlen to support the organisation of the new Biogas-Biomethane division as Managing Director of PGNiG Bioevolution, I am now back on the management board of ORLEN Deutschland. In the meantime, I had been supporting the tasks I would be undertaking at ORLEN Deutschland in an advisory role, in order to ensure I would be able to seamlessly continue with the projects and processes following my reappointment”, says Piotr Guział. 

Guział held the position of Chief Development Officer from September 2020 to February 2023. At ORLEN, he is responsible for Board Advisors, Non Fuel Business, E-Mobility & Business Development, Net Development, Real Estate, Technique and Construction.

Previously, Piotr Guział was Managing Director at Unipetrol Deutschland GmbH. He has many years of experience in board, advisory and supervisory positions at both private and public companies, including publicly-traded companies. Born in Warsaw, he has worked in the sales departments of payment, information and communication technologies (ICT), real estate management, and investment preparations. Guział studied economics at the University of Cologne and the Warsaw School of Economics, and served as the independent mayor of the Ursynów district in Warsaw, Poland, from 2010-2014.

Jarosław Marczak (CEO), Dariusz Pawlik (COO) and Oskar Skiba (CFO) make up the other members of the ORLEN Deutschland GmbH management board.
