Elmshorn, 25 May 2023 –
The presentation of an XXL-sized fleet card to the Embassy of the Republic of
Poland in Berlin marked the start of a new collaboration with ORLEN Deutschland
GmbH. The Polish Embassy’s eight service cars will now be able to refuel at any
of the nearly 600 petrol stations run by ORLEN Deutschland throughout Germany.
ORLEN Germany is part of the Polish multi-energy group PKN ORLEN S.A.
Oskar Skiba, Chief Financial Officer of ORLEN Deutschland, symbolically
presented an XXL fleet card to Dariusz Pawłoś, the Ambassador of the Republic
of Poland in Berlin, at the ceremonial first refuelling of the Polish Embassy’s
service cars at the star petrol
station, Brunsbütteler Damm in Berlin. The two of them then joined forces to
refuel the ambassador’s service vehicle.
“Cooperating with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Berlin is
highly significant for us. It shows the close relationship between our group
parent company PKN ORLEN and its German subsidiary, ORLEN Deutschland GmbH,
with the Polish representation in Germany. We are honoured that Ambassador
Pawłos came to our star petrol station in person for us to symbolically present
the fuel cards,” says Oskar Skiba, Chief Financial Officer at ORLEN
Deutschland.
Each of the Polish Embassy’s eight service vehicles has an ORLEN fleet
card for quick and, above all, cashless payments at petrol stations. Billing is
done transparently for each car separately on a monthly basis.
